MARRIED! June 29th 2011

So as many of you don't know! We were married yesterday evening. It was a quick random decision, we were going to wait until August 6th but if we did two of my sisters and Taylor's dad couldn't be there. The 29th worked best for everyone and even though it was such late notice it fit together perfectly. All of our close friends and family were able to attend and it was lovely even though it was SOOOOO hot! I do not recommend getting married in June in the dress I wore, so very hot and as many of you know the wind was crazy but of course we had an AMAZING photographer and did a great job working with the wind. The best part definitely taking our pictures we took so many funny ones I can't wait. We will currently be living with my parents until July 7th when we can move into our apartment. We will be living in Murray 4800s 600w with our sweet baby kitten who is finally understanding what No means. Which is definitely a blessing, man she's got teeth! Well we are both very happy I think the whole "married" thing might take a little while to sink in. But when we have to live together and on our own and pay for everything I'm sure it will become very known very fast. Also our reception is still on August 6th at the Bayshore Ward building in Stansbury Park. We decided to space out the craziness and that was the soonest weekend we could do it. Which I do recommend we didn't even do much yesterday and we were both EXHAUSTED! I can't imagine having the reception the same day, but that's just me. I know its crazy random but yes we are legally married now, it's be a wait but so worth it :)

Postponed

So very sadly we had to post pone the wedding :( we've been having some financial problems and having a hard time finding Taylor a job in SLC but we found one! He starts on June 20th, but he has a mandatory training for 5 weeks that he cant miss. We haven't picked a new date yet but we will hopefully be able to soon. We're hoping in 5 weeks but it all just depends on how much money we have saved up and all that. We are doing great, it was a mutual decision that we both think is the best for us. We've contacted everyone and everything is taken care of so now we just got to build our relationship even more, save money and get married! We still can't wait but we would rather wait a few weeks and not be stressed with finances. We'll be sure to let everyone know as soon as the new date is set!!!

1 month left!

well im a tad bit late, May 25 th marked the 1 month til wedding day. i am so so excited i can not wait to be a wife and a davis. although it is probably going to be the craziest day of my life i can not wait. we graciously get to move into our apartment on the 16th, taylor will live there and ill come live after were married. but i am so happy we will be all moved in once we get home from our honeymoon we can just go home and not have to worry about it. me and my mother are rushing to get all the last minute wedding plans done. me ashley and my mother stuffed envelopes all last week and thankfully are done! all we have to do is stick a stamp on all 300 and ship them off! on the 21st i had my 1st of 4 bridal showers thrown by my maid of honor ashley it was a blast, she put a lot of hard work into it and i love her for that. taylor got a new job in salt lake city! he will start after the honeymoon and work at convergs until he can get his mandarin down and fluent and work as a contractor for the fbi and start school this fall. its going to be a bumpy ride but im excited. i still love my job as a nanny, the kids are great and it is by far my most favorite job ive ever had. 1 month left everybody! lets hope we can make it ha ha JK of course we will, we're in love!

So I went and took my bridal pictures yesterday, unfortunately it was pouring down rain in the middle of May, so we were unable to take them outside so instead we went to plan B. We took them in the SLC library, which is extremely nice and huge. When I showed Taylor he said, "everyone is going to think you love books" hahahaha nah just the only indoor nice place to take pictures haha, we took about 400! Yikes I know, but I went thru them and got down to about 150, I am not going to post all the pictures but here are a few of my favorites, I hope you like :) PS. I swear my dress weighs 20 pounds, it is so heavy to wear! and hot! Oh well its beautiful and I adore it!

so we always knew we wanted a kitten once we got married but a girl taylor use to work with, cats had kittens and we went to look at them and i had to have one! i picked the 1 little girl they had left and we took her home at just 6 weeks old. she is so cute, but so feisty! she loves to play and her favorite thing to play with is our hands and feet, the scratches all over my legs and arms can prove it! haha. she can be out of control sometimes but we absolutely adore her.

the story of our engagement!

I'm not gonna lie I knew it was coming and I knew what day as well but I didn't know exactly when during our wonderful date. We first went to the olive garden (Emilie's favorite!) It was very good and I thought he was going to propose there but as we were leaving and it hadn't happened yet, I was wrong. So we started walking around down town and we got to the temple grounds and started walking around the visitors center and the salt lake city temple grounds. To our surprise the actual gates were open to the temple, which has never happened when I've been to walk around the temple, so I was pretty excited. I was walking up and down the temples stairs when I turned around and their was Taylor on one knee asking me to marry him. Of course I said yes and jump hugged him! It was a very special night for the both of us and something I had been waiting for, for quite awhile.

annnnnd this is the ring :) it is exactly what I wanted and more! I love it.
